Refund policy
We truly hope you love your new piece. Every garment is thoughtfully designed and carefully handcrafted, and we want you to enjoy wearing it as much as we enjoyed creating it.
If something isn't quite right, we're here to help.
We gladly accept returns on full-priced items for a refund, exchange, or store credit, provided the following conditions are met.
Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order at info@craftsofindia.com.au to request a return. We will provide you with the return instructions.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be:
- Unworn and unwashed
- In its original condition
- Returned with all original tags attached
Return and exchange shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We kindly ask that all returns are sent using a trackable postage service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.
Refunds
Once your return has been received, inspected, and approved, we'll process your refund back to your original payment method.
Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Exchanges
If you'd prefer a different size or style, we're happy to exchange your item, subject to availability.
As we're a small business with limited production runs, we're unable to reserve stock while your return is in transit. If your requested item is no longer available, we'll issue a store credit instead.
Store credit is valid for 2 years from the date of issue.
Sale Items
Items purchased during a sale or using a promotional discount code are considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. The only exception is our welcome discount, which does not affect your return eligibility.
Handmade Nature of Our Pieces
Every Crafts of India garment is individually hand block printed by skilled artisans using traditional techniques that have been passed down through generations.
Because each piece is printed by hand, slight variations in print placement, colour depth, and pattern are completely natural. Some areas may appear a little lighter or darker than others, and no two garments will ever be exactly the same.
These beautiful variations are not flaws—they're what make every piece unique and are a reflection of the handcrafted process.
Please also note that slight colour differences between your screen and the actual garment, as well as minor measurement variations, are considered normal and are not regarded as manufacturing faults.
Faulty Items
If you believe your item has a genuine manufacturing fault, please contact us at info@craftsofindia.com.au as soon as possible, including your order number and photos of the issue.
We'll carefully assess the garment and, where a fault is confirmed, we'll happily arrange a replacement where possible. If a replacement isn't available, we'll provide a full refund.
Order Cancellations
If you need to cancel your order, please get in touch as soon as possible after placing it.
Once your order has been dispatched, we're unfortunately unable to cancel it.
