Hand block printing is a time-honoured craft rooted in India’s rich textile heritage, where intricate patterns are brought to life using hand-carved wooden blocks. Each design begins with skilled artisans carefully carving motifs into rosewood, transforming simple wood into detailed printing tools.

Natural, eco-conscious dyes are then blended by hand, before being stamped onto fabric one impression at a time. Often applied in multiple layers, the process requires precision, patience, and a steady rhythm to build up the final design.

Once printed, the fabric is washed, sun-dried, and meticulously inspected. The result is a piece that carries subtle variations and human touch — a celebration of slow craftsmanship, sustainable practice, and the beauty of imperfection.

Material: 100% Cotton Voile. Lightweight and airy with a soft, flowing drape. Semi-sheer with a smooth hand feel.

Care: We recommend a gentle cold hand wash using natural detergents and drying in the shade. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Press with a warm iron if needed.
